In the meantime, if you can recall from last month, both George McFly and Lorraine came to Doc Brown in 1955 as they struggled with relationship issues "In Search of Calvin Marty Klein." It was up to the Doc to save the day and convince Marty's parents to stay together, otherwise Marty's future was in jeopardy. We also got a glimpse into Biff Tannen's past (way past), when we saw just how far in the past he went when he stole the DeLorean in Back to the Future II.
This month, in Back to the Future #4, Doc has yet another story to tell his two boys, Jules and Vern. This time, it's the tale about how Marty and Jennifer first got together in "Peer Pressure." Then, we find out just how Doc Brown turned his famous, time-traveling DeLorean into a flying machine in "Emmett Brown Visits the Future." It turns out that gold, silver, nor diamonds were what grew in value the most over the past century. You'll just have to read Doc's story to find out exactly what was.
Speaking of stories, our writers, Bob Gale, John Barber, and Erik Burnham, have truly shown their brightest colors this month. Both alternate timelines were equally as entertaining, and I just love learning about these new back stories every week that totally coincide with one of the greatest film trilogies of all time. I'm also absolutely in love with Dan Schoening's cover this month. And, after putting all four covers side by side, I finally realized that all the regular covers fit together to make one awesome picture! #MindBlown!
For now, I'm just happy to say that I'll see you all next month!
