Emphasizing diversity, family, and female empowerment, Quince’s creative team includes sisters Kit Steinkellner (writer - Z: The Beginning of Everything) and Emma Steinkellner (artist - Pow Slam Sparkle) and creator Sebastian Kadlecik (Penguins vs. Possums).

The Perky Nerd, an amazing comic book shop and pop culture emporium in Burbank, CA, invites you to attend their Halloween Art Show TONIGHT from 8-10 p.m.! ArtNight is a citywide arts festival in Pasadena, CA, held twice per year, highlighting music, dance, and all forms of visual arts, including comic books.
After several stellar music videos from composer/pianist Sonya Belousova and director/producer Tom Grey, the award-winning musical duo (otherwise known as Player:Piano) announced at New York Comic Con today that they have teamed up with Crystal Dynamics for an epic, new Tomb Raider-inspired music video. The release is in celebration and honor of Rise of the Tomb Raider, the 20-Year Celebration Anniversary of the iconic Tomb Raider franchise. Greetings from the Shire on this happiest of Hobbit Days! Hobbit Day is the birthday of hobbits Bilbo and Frodo Baggins, two fictional characters in J. R. R. Tolkien's popular set of books, The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. In the books, both Bilbo and Frodo were said to be born on September 22, but of different years. Bilbo was born in the year of 2890 and Frodo in the year of 2968 in the Third Age (1290 and 1368 respectively in Shire-Reckoning).
