Fanbase Press Announces ‘Creator Forum’ Online Seminar for Indie Creators with ‘Engaging with Comics Press’ with Hannibal Tabu

Fanbase Press' Creator Forum offers affordable, monthly online seminars geared towards independent creators from a variety of mediums. Part lecture and part discussion, Creator Forum seminars are accessible to various experience levels and provide direct access to a knowledgeable and responsive specialist. Fanbase Press invites you to develop and enhance your creative toolkit within a positive and supportive community from the comfort of your own home.

For its latest online seminar, Fanbase Press welcomes creators to join Hannibal Tabu for the “Engaging with Comics Press” Creator Forum on Sunday, August 30, at 1 p.m./PST.

Hannibal Tabu is a writer, journalist, DJ, poet, and designer living in south Los Angeles with his wife and two children. He's a winner of the 2012 Top Cow Talent Hunt, writer of Time Corps, Irrational Numbers, and Scoundrel for Wunderman Comics, Waso: Will To Power and Waso: Gathering Wind for Stranger Comics, Artifacts #35 for Image Comics, Fathom Sourcebook, Soulfire Sourcebook, Executive Assistant Iris Sourcebook, and Aspen Universe Sourcebook for Aspen Comics, Menthu: The Anger of Angels with Robert Roach, Project Wildfire: Enter Project Torrent and Project Wildfire: Street Justice with Quinn McGowan, and co-writer (alongside 2 Guns writer Steven Grant) of an issue of Watson and Holmes for New Paradigm Studios. In fiction, he has been published in the Dark Univers: Steamfunk! and Black Power prose fiction anthologies and has two self-published novels, The Crown: Ascension and Faraway. In the “Engaging with Comics Press” Creator Forum, attendees will follow along as Tabu shares his experience and knowledge to help demystify how to find, engage with, and request media assistance from members of the comics industry press to help raise awareness for your project. Having worked as both a comics creator and a member of the comics industry press for various publishers and outlets, Tabu's knowledge and perspective with be invaluable to both seasoned and aspiring comics creators. 

The “Engaging with Comics Press” Creator Forum will be an hour-long session which will take place via the Zoom online platform, and registration for the seminar will be $10.00 per attendee.
